Impact & Sustainability Analyst
3 hours per week
Remote
Job Description:
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to gain practical experience in a purpose-driven environment? If you're looking for a way to build strong professional skills in ESG reporting and impact analysis — all while helping people and the planet — this opportunity is for you!
Who are we?
Easysustainability is a global NGO helping people connect with the green job market. We envision a future where solving environmental (and social) problems becomes a legitimate source of income. Through education, mentoring, and community projects, we empower individuals to develop the skills and experience needed to thrive in sustainability-focused careers.
We are now seeking a volunteer Impact & Sustainability Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team!
About the Role
As our Impact & Sustainability Analyst, you will play a key role in assessing and communicating the effectiveness of our work. Your main responsibility will be to draft Easysustainability’s yearly Impact & Sustainability Report — a critical document that showcases our achievements, guides future strategy, and strengthens transparency with our community.
To do this, you will gather insights from ongoing projects, analyze key metrics, and become familiar with internationally recognized sustainability reporting frameworks, such as the VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Management and Evaluation).
This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in sustainability strategy, reporting, and communication — all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Your ONLY responsibilities
➡️ A genuine interest in environmental sustainability, impact measurement, and a strong desire to contribute to systemic change
➡️ A willingness to learn about sustainability reporting frameworks such as the VSME and apply them in practice
➡️ A commitment to professionalism, research, writing, and critical thinking
➡️ A commitment of 3 hours per week
Join and be part of a dedicated team working tirelessly to help solve global challenges our planet faces such as climate change and pollution. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the environment and create a more sustainable and resilient world. We empower you to choose the most suitable project for you (it's also possible to propose your own if you desire!). Some examples of the projects we have been carrying out so far are: a biodiversity crediting program, waste manager professionalisation pathway, pro bono consulting for startups, green job shadowing, anti-food waste Erasmus+ in Poland, Armenia and many more.
Our headquarter is in Livorno, Italy. However, our community is globally remote and occasionally takes part in physical events in Europe and some neighbouring countries. We welcome applicants from all over the world (so anyone can apply from any location if the project is fully remote) but keep in mind that our schedules are primarily based on the CET time zone.
