INITIATIVES

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

EasySustainability is actively drafting and implementing several projects & initiatives ranging from biodiversity conservation to solar communities. We continuously explore new project formats and collabs, but the main one so far is Erasmus+, followed by open-source unfunded projects and Benevity. Whenever a project draft is not accepted for funding, we can consider re-application under any other scheme.

We welcome any project idea from our volunteers , partners and associates, and it is possible to submit to us your own project ideas via the apposite form.

We allow both active and passive membership in our organization and empower everyone with horizontal leadership, however, when participating to a project, you should follow these general rules to guarantee harmony among the project team:
Communicate to your team members how much time you can dedicate to the project from the start. For instance, contributing to an Erasmus+ Youth exchange may involve just one week of project participation, while participating in a partnership with corporates and universities could span several months or even some years, requiring a more intensive workload and frequent meetings.
Communicate on time if you cannot attend any meeting or you had any inconvenient which prevented you from progressing on your tasks. Leave the project or freeze your participation if you deem it necessary, and inform the PM about this.
Be aware of the project format, and understand the requirements of such format. We have many materials freely available in our Education & Training section, especially for EU project management.
Understand in which phase of the project you are, and act accordingly. For instance, if a project is in the drafting phase and not mature enough, do not overpitch it externally, especially when corporate and institutional partners and their intellectual property are involved. Just for your information, EasySustainability has no legal personality so any project participant who acts in bad faith in the name of EasySustainability is going to have personal repercussions.
Avoid free riding, and whenever you are putting your project experience and contributions on a cv or Linkedin, be honest. We happened in the past to have some very bad experiences with certain volunteers who put on their cv "project manager" but did not do anything (not even showing up at one meeting), and were just trying to leverage this experience with employers to get a job. Needless to say that this backfired them, and employers noticed immediately such cases of misconduct could not do anything of what faked on cv. The integrity of our non-profit brand needs to be safeguarded because many important employers put their trust on us and our people, and we are ready to collaborate with them as well as the competent authorities if any similar misconduct is reported again.
Our founders and active members worked hard to get us where we are now, and any breach of these very simple but essential rules and values mentioned in our statute could lead to serious consequences.
Please note that the full list of projects present here may not be updated in real time, so we encourage you to closely follow our whatsapp community and Linkedin page to have the latest information on projects.
